Scarborough Scent Dogs operates as both a Canine Massage and Rehabilitation Centre and a Scent Work Coaching facility.
The following terms and conditions govern your use of our website and the services we offer.
Acceptance of Terms:
- By accessing and using our website or any of our services, you are acknowledging and agreeing to abide by these terms and conditions.
Definitions:
- Service: Refers to the canine massage therapy and scent sport instruction provided by Scarborough Scent Dogs.
- Client: Refers to the dog owner or guardian who engages with our services.
- Canine: Refers to the dog receiving our services.
User Responsibilities:
- Clients are required to obtain a signed written consent form from their veterinarian before their canine can receive any massage or rehabilitation therapies. This ensures that each therapy is suitable for the dog's health and well-being.
- Clients must inform the therapist of any medical conditions or concerns regarding their canine prior to the commencement of services.
- Clients are responsible for supervising their dogs during all sessions and must follow any guidelines provided by our staff.
- Parking is available for clients, but all vehicles and their contents are parked at the owner's own risk. Please be considerate of other motorists and clients when parking.
Intellectual Property:
- All content on our website, including images, text, and logos, is the property of Scarborough Scent Dogs. Use of any such content is not permitted without prior written consent from Scarborough Scent Dogs.
Payment Terms:
- Payments for Scent Work services must be made either by cash at the time of service or by bank transfer prior to the session using our online booking system.
- Payments for Massage and Rehabilitation services are due on the day of the booking by cash or by bank transfer prior to the appointment.
- A 24-hour notice is required for all cancellations. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session will be charged at the full rate.
Limitation of Liability:
- Scarborough Scent Dogs endeavours to provide high-quality services, but we are not liable for any injuries or damages that may occur during or after services are provided.
- Clients assume full responsibility for their dogs and any consequences arising from use of our services or facilities.
- Scarborough Scent Dogs assumes no responsibility for any damage, theft, or injury caused to individuals using our facilities or present on our property.
Termination:
- Scarborough Scent Dogs reserves the right to terminate services if a dog is deemed aggressive or poses a threat to the safety of staff, other dogs, or clients.
- Our staff maintains a zero-tolerance policy for abuse of any kind.
- Therapists reserve the right to refuse treatment if they feel uncomfortable or threatened at any time.
Governing Law:
- These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
Changes to Terms:
- Scarborough Scent Dogs reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes either by email or through updates posted on our website.
