Canine massage can be beneficial in multiple musculoskeletal conditions and can improve pain control and mobility. As a non invasive therapy it can complement many conventional treatments.
We offer:
Orthopeadic issues:
Cruciate ligament injury
Spondylosis
OCD
Hip Dysplasia
Elbow Dysplasia
Luxating Patella
When a dog is diagnosed with a MSK injury or disease their usual daily routine will be affected. Very often a short or long term programme of therapy will be implemented which frequently includes several treatment options for effective management of the condition. The subsequent change in routine and lifestyle can be challenging for owners and we can provide help and guidance in the adaptation of their dog's lifestyle to accommodate these changes. This includes assistance with environment/ home adaptations, weight management, appropriate exercise and enrichment activities, and training plans to help ameliorate often consequent behavioural issues.
This is offered as part of our holistic approach to care and welfare of these dogs and support for their owners.
